Diarrhea syndrome is defined as the change of consistency (liquid or slurry), volume (more than 200-300 grams / day) feces due to increase in the volume of water in it. Proper nutrition is essential to relieve diarrhea. Intake of food that does not contain a large amount of insoluble fiber is recommendable because these substances are too stimulative for the intestines and thus increase the diarrhea.
My recommendation is the following:
Integral rice: It is best to cook it and cover with a little olive oil or the recommended rice pudding;
Bananas: They are easily digested and do not burden the intestine. They have a high content of potassium, which should be compensated for the loss of fluid;
Carrots: Regulate intestine movements and prevent constipation since it is rich with pectin. It is often used to treat diarrhea in babies. I recommend that you take the carrot that is cooked for 90 minutes, drained and crushed;
Apples: Due to the high content of pectin, apples regulate intestine movements and act as a mild laxative for constipation, especially if you eat them early in the morning. Pectin has the property of absorbent, which has a beneficial effect on kolitlis, diarrhea, gastroenteritis and other diseases accompanied by profuse and soft feces;
Pears: Because of its mild astringent properties, pears are excellent for the treatment of diarrhea and colitis;
Currant: Thanks to the content of tannins, berries, especially black currant, stop diarrhea;
Yogurt with probiotics: Intestines require many good bacteria to fight the bad bacteria that cause several types of diarrhea. Yogurt is very nutritious because it has a high content of protein, calcium and carbohydrates, thanks to which it regenerates the intestinal flora. Yogurt with probiotics is particularly effective;
Fruit juice: juice of various fruit and vegetables are particularly recommended during diarrhea to restore lost fluids and necessary vitamins and minerals;
Whitethorn: The plant has a high starch content, catechin and zinc and has an astringent property due to which very successfully treat diarrhea. I recommend the homemade jam of white hawthorn.
While you have diarrhea, except for the corresponding food, in order to avoid dehydration you must take a lot of water and electrolytes.
